Anyone have a solar powered pump?

I want to pump water out of a big lagoon to use in the sprinkler system. Anyone have first hand knowledge of using solar panels for something like that? Right now the wire from my house to the pump would cost about $800 so add electrical savings over a few years and I'm thinking solar may be the way to go.
