I think Brian might be right. I think mine is Rosemond Coles. Here is another picture of another bloom opening this morning. When it is in full bloom the yellow comes out more and very hot sun will fade the blooms somewhat.

I went out and double checked where the new bloom was. It is seperate from the cannas in the original pictures so this red one might be a different kind. This is one Is a deeper red/red (I like!) so it could be something else. I`ll check back with another picture when it blooms out more. But then I didn`t take notice of the first cannas I mentioned until they had bloomed out and were all fluffy looking.

But I put Paul`s Rosemond Coles picture next to mine and they do Really look alike. So I think Brian is right. I do have Rosemond Coles. My bloom is more mature and they do fade somewhat in the sun over a few days.
