Ancho Peppers
United Genetics still lists it with this explanation "Ancho Supremo medium 250 g green to red 12 x 15 cm conical -
Ancho Supremo is a very large selection of the traditional Mexican Ancho, extremely uniform and very productive, with a typical triangular shape. Very dark green color. " Summing that they are correct, http://www.unitedgenetics.com/products/pepper.htm You should be able to substitute Ancho 101 (Ornamental Edibles), Ancho 211 (Johnnys), Ancho Gigantia (Harvest Moon), Ancho L (Reimers), Ancho Mexican Large (Redwood City) .... You can browse plantfiles for additional cultivars.
Great, thanks!
