I believe this is the correct name for this huge flowering beauty. It is a Johnny Johnson hybrid and it might be stilling the show here in my garden this year.

Dark foliage huge red and yellow flowers you cannot go wrong with this one. It reminds me of one I have breed called Magma

I have never seen Cardinal but would be interested in seeing it. I have to agree Alice Donnie and Johnny are first class breeders. I have enjoyed talking with Donnie and all contact with Johnny in emails have been very informative and interesting.
Alice how have your breeding been going I dont know how you deal with all the named forms you already. I remember talking about a trade once I would be interested in some of the odder forms if or when you get time. THANKS
