We've got a number of good sized ones growing now but it's always fun to find another one. BTW do people often cut the end of the vine off once a few have taken?

i think they cut off the end when they want to grow GIANT fruit.

Thanks roseone :) .....the soil at that plot is very clayee/sandy. When we first rented it I wasn't sure how well plants would grow there but it has turned out to be very fertile (tho with the pumpkins/tomatoes we also put a large pail full of manure under each plant). It also holds the moisture well which also has been a wonderful plus given the heat we've been getting this year.
