Hybrid deep water water cannas

Lakeland, FL(Zone 9b)

This is three of the seedlings from the Endeavour seeds Alice sent me. the seeds cross pollinated with another canna and this is the result. The maroon seem to be growing faster then the green. The green when it was smaller had splotches of maroon but as they got older they disappeared. I am hoping they have the Endeavours flower color rasberry red. They should be blooming by September. The leaves are the prettiest maroon that I have ever seen on any canna and I am hoping to cross it with one of the cannas that likes water and has a deep red flower to develop a deep red deep water canna, hopefully keeping the maroon leaves. paul
