My gloriosa lily bloomed today

I planted the tubers last year and it finally bloomed today. on the package it had a picture of a red and yellow flower..this is more of a greenish-yellow tipped in almost a deep purple..is this normal? its pretty in a bizarre kinda way.
regardless, im glad it bloomed. ive been told they are kind of a challenge. this year i was planting some hydrangeas and had plum forgot about the lilys being under there. Imagine that, i got blooms from soemthing that i severely mangled.

they are climbing up last years old cardinal vine, lol. i had lattice up there for the cardinal vine , but they didnt do too well (too much shade) so i pulled the lattice down in the fall. there were a few pieces left attached to the screen. the glorisa lily..theres only 1 stalk, has just wound itself up that.
