Me too, Good night!

Deep East Texas, TX(Zone 8a)

That evil chicken wants to know what the heck you were doing out there at that time of night! Unusually pretty chicken collection you got there!

Neat series of photos too, Thanks. I would have trouble wandering around at dusk after I killed a copperhead on the patio the other afternoon. I couldn't look for looking if you know what I mean...

Nice! So this is what a vegetable garden is supposed to look like. Now, I'm hungry, want a nice plate of veggies (I'll pass on the evil chicken, though).

We've got lots of toads but rarely see a snake. Sometime they'll startle me when I'm moving around bales.

We got a variety of chickens from Murray McMurray -- Crested Polish, Cornish, Phoenix, etc. They're a hoot! http://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/

Justdeb- The evil ones taste the best. Now if I could get the DW to develop a taste for squash bugs . . . . I didn't include pictures of the Tomatoes with blight, artichokes with wilt and bush beans with leaf curl. Oh gardening in the Mid-south can be challenging especially when you have 3 hours of watering to do every night! Rain, Rain .... we need some rain.

Birmingham, AL(Zone 7b)

We've had a bit of rain, yippeeee!

Do the evil chickens really taste better? I have a question, though. You know how people eat "exotic" foods and always say it tastes like chicken (frogs, snake, etc). Well, I've always wondered, why don't eggs taste like chicken?

:-)

No fair! - everyone all around us got rain this last week-end. We haven't got a good soaking since July 5th . . .

Thank you so much for your garden tour!!! It was a delight. Ditto on the rain

I loved all these pictures.... and I could definitely relate to "Hot naked-neck" I felt how he/she looks a couple of days ago.

Thanks for taking the time to post these pictures.

jozeben, thanks for the pictures. I spent about an hour in a hatchery site this afternoon. I'd love to have a few chickens. My setup is not right, right now, but I can dream.
