Hello all. I am new here ..this is actually the second thread I've posted to about this. I just moved from Charlotte NC down to Clover SC (about 17 miles). I have this growing in my back yard ..can anyone tell me what in the heck it is?

Hard for me to see how big that plant is. Is it "clump size" (shovel size or less) or humongous?
Kinda looks like nut grass to me (if growing in small clumps).
