If you ever go to Thailand, do visit the Queen Sirikit Botanic Gardens in Chiang Mai. Here are a few pictures from the fern house a week ago.
ferns in Thailand
Nice pics of the ferns. I felt like I was there in person...just without the mist. lol.
As muggy as it was there, I wonder why they needed to mist at all. It's actually hotter in GA (mid 90's to 100) than it was there (mid 80's to low 90's) but no where near the humidity. It felt like Cancun or S. FL. which can be very muggy. Anyway it must be perfect weather for orchids because they were everywhere.
Wow on the maidenhair photo. What is the green stuff that looks like selaginella on that bowl looking thing.
And I SPY WITH MY LITTLE EYE! Nice field of begonias there!! If only we could grow them like a ground cover!!
Love that second staghorn type! Neat-O! Thanks Butch!
I love the last pic, birdnest fern. thanks for sharing

Some amazing stuff there, did you manage to sneak any cuttings....... that had fallen off course.LOL
I especially like the one that one that looks like forked tongues. very cool,
The bowl things are Lycopodiums.
