Dble Purple

Headland, AL(Zone 8a)

My Double Purple bloomed again tonight. It has a full bloom on it, a bud about to open, and a seed pod from the last bloom. Also, it put up a pup from the roots, which I treased out and planted in the same pot, but at the edge so it can establish its own roots a little better before moving it to its own 'home'. The first time it bloomed it had a ruffle in the middle like Xeramtheum's Black Currant. Last time it bloomed, it bloomed at night and I missed the full open. This time I made it a point to go out and get pics of it and to make sure I pollinated it so I'd have more seeds. I LOVE the dark black color of the stems and trunk. Since this is my first time with dats, I'm curious if they can be rooted easily from cuttings?

Dadgummit...DG is really running slow tonight...and now it isn't loading my pic...let me try again.

Edit to add: Great, now it double posted. Too many people on tonight. Reckon I'll go to bed.
