Many of my eggplants (one of my favorite veggies) are beginning to have wilting, mottled yellow and green leaves, starting at the bottom of the plant. I see this nearly every year. Does anyone know what to do about this? I'm wondering if it may be verticillium wilt. Many of the disease sprays don't list eggplants on their labels for treatment. HELP!
Eggplant diseases
Eggplant suffers from many of the same diseases as tomatoes. It usually doesn't have as severe effect on eggplant. Most of them, about all you can do is select cultivars that are less susceptible to a troublesome disease. http://vegdis.cas.psu.edu/VegDisases/Identification_files/eggplant.html
