Raining on my Endless Summer

Sherrill, NY(Zone 5a)

We received 4.5 inches of rain today in upstate NY. The big beautiful blue blooms of my ES are now sadly laying on the ground. Any advice? Will they pop back up once she dries out? This is my first hydrangea. Thanks!

I am sure they will try to pop back up! If not - you can pick them off and it will bloom again and again! That is a lot of rain! :)

You too? I thought it was only my poor Nikko Blue that has been beaten down by the rain.
Since it is not a remontant, should I put supports under it? The blooms are HUGE. Really huge, at least 6" across (I'm guestimating here).

I am fairly sure the Endless Summer variety blooms again and again (I have one of these) However, despite my name I am no expert - how big is your hydrangea bush? They probably are really logged with water - have you shook the blooms off?
