Once harvested, can you un-green potatoes?

I dug some potatoes that are just slightly tinged w/ green. My fault: I left them in the light a while. Any way to get the green off (besides peeling)? I don't have much hope of it, but was mostly curious. Thanks!

Can't UN-green potatoes. Cut it off & go on with cooking... The green from sunlight signals formation of "solanin compounds" which are somewhat toxic & should NOT be eaten.

Okay. Just wondered. Peeling alone will take care of the green in my potatoes. Thank you!
