I have some hydrangeas that bloom on new growth. they are done with the pretty colors and now are rather dismal, maroon/mauve colors. My first intuition is to trim off all the blooms I dont care for, is this ok? email me at crazyjansing@aol.com

Some people like the look of hydrangea flowers as they fade and dry, but if you don't then I don't see any reason why you couldn't cut them off if you want to.
