well...hap..this year everything is getting eaten to DEATH!!! if it's NOT the groundhogs it's the beetles...and if it's NOT the beetles it's some other critter!
This year I've had a problem with caterpillars! Sheesh.....I didn't know they munched on coleus also!

LOL.....just spray with BT, that's what I did last night.

i have sprayed with death spray. smashed, stepped on....tried the 22....didn't get the groundhog.... tried poison and bombs...they are too smart!
Hap, Green Light makes BT Worm Killer. BT is Bacillus thuringiensis

brinda...camping out in a greenhouse...what fun!! that would be such a great "field trip" for all of us! i can see it now! a greenhouse full of coleus!! and sidney, i'm certain will have her plastic bags and clippers (actually, i know she's such a pro at it probably doesn't need the clippers) and she will get a cutting of each and every coleus in the entire greenhouse!

this is one of my favorites
here is one of the flower beds, if you look at the far right, you will see my ginger blooming!! Its orange-and there is a heliconia plant in front to the left of it. Sorry, I am not very good at taking pictures!
here is another one-with more tropicals than annuals in it-have been planting more cold hardy tropicals in some of the beds-I just love tropicals!

I must really be bad with a camera, I haven't figured out how to get closeup enough to see the plants, but get the whole bed in the picture. When I look at them in this thread, they don't look so good, but outside they look ok!
