I am still hoping you all will send me more pictures of stunning coleus and planting schemes, for my portfolio. I promise I will tell no one where I got the ideas. :-0

This is not a coleus..caesalpinia pulcherrima 'Flava'

E, it's a deal, pulcherrima? orange/red, yellow or both?

I am running out of new coleus shots, looks like it is time for a road trip thru the neighborhood.

well...hap..this year everything is getting eaten to DEATH!!! if it's NOT the groundhogs it's the beetles...and if it's NOT the beetles it's some other critter!

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

This year I've had a problem with caterpillars! Sheesh.....I didn't know they munched on coleus also!

Beautiful pics girls!!!!

Chicago, IL(Zone 5b)

If the cats start on my coleus, I will be out there 24/7 with a shot gun.

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

LOL.....just spray with BT, that's what I did last night.

Chicago, IL(Zone 5b)

What's BT?

groveland, FL(Zone 9b)

i have sprayed with death spray. smashed, stepped on....tried the 22....didn't get the groundhog.... tried poison and bombs...they are too smart!

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Hap, Green Light makes BT Worm Killer. BT is Bacillus thuringiensis

(Had to go get my bottle so I'd know how to spell it)

Chicago, IL(Zone 5b)

Ok thanks.

sticks you have been doing just fine!! and thank you appreciate the nice words!

brinda...camping out in a greenhouse...what fun!! that would be such a great "field trip" for all of us! i can see it now! a greenhouse full of coleus!! and sidney, i'm certain will have her plastic bags and clippers (actually, i know she's such a pro at it probably doesn't need the clippers) and she will get a cutting of each and every coleus in the entire greenhouse!

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Hey Kyle...did you notice??? We're all planning a trip to your place! LOLOL

here is one of the flower beds, if you look at the far right, you will see my ginger blooming!! Its orange-and there is a heliconia plant in front to the left of it. Sorry, I am not very good at taking pictures!

here is another one-with more tropicals than annuals in it-have been planting more cold hardy tropicals in some of the beds-I just love tropicals!

here are some of the annual beds

lol I hope there isn't a limit here! I guess since I took the pictures, I might as well show them. They are starting to fill out now with all the rain we have had.

I must really be bad with a camera, I haven't figured out how to get closeup enough to see the plants, but get the whole bed in the picture. When I look at them in this thread, they don't look so good, but outside they look ok!

last one, maybe somebody can tell me a trick to taking these pictures!!

I hope I didn't get carried away here, esp since the pics aren't that good! lol
