This is my first vegetable garden and I discovered these small, white, cocoon-like things on the underside of the broccoli and asparagus leaves. I'm assuming they are eggs, but I'm not sure. What are they and what should I do about them? I removed them by hand from the underside of the broccoli leaves, but then I wondered if I should have done that. The attached pictue is not great, but it's the best I could do. Help anyone?
Need help identifying what's growing on my asparagus
