Knee high by the fourth of July! Well, maybe if you count my three year old daughter's knee.
My very first planting was from transplants and that batch is taller and silking, the rest are in varying stages of short.
How big is your corn?
Who's Knee?
zone ENVY...
I'm growing a 'new to me' variety this year called Early & Often. It's between 6 and 7 feet tall and silking now. The Burpee blurb said it will produce continuously throughout the early season but not all at once.
Ambrosia is earing and silking...about 6 foot. I have later plantings from not up yet to 2 inches, 8 inches, 20 inches, 30 inches, and 50 inches. These are Ambrosia, Delectable, and Incredible.
Indy, you are in the same zone (just about) as me. When did you put in your first planting of Ambrosia? When is your average last frost?
