You solved my ID Thanks Baa. Guess my neighbour was right then about it being a weed. She always knows best - I don't know why I bother...Looks like it's a bit of a problem if it's introduced! But mine took an eternity to establish itself. Won't keep the seed though eh!!!!
What is it then please? I've been trying to think what it could be.
Sorry - Baa posted his answer on the ID Forum...It's a pernicious weed called cruel weed. Notifiable in some countries!!!!! And to think I would have popped some seeds in the next ERR LOL. Only kidding....Lizzy
I think it looks rather pretty, I wonder what is cruel about it. Perhaps it strangles things if it is a vine.

It's called Cruel vine because when the moth comes to visit the sticky pollen masses traps the moth to ensure the transfer of pollen. The moth is released without harm sometime later.
Or NOT to my dismay...but hey... Nature Raw in Tooth and Claw!!!
