I love Ajuga for a ground cover in my zone and it does very well here. Recently visited Lowe's to see if they had their's out yet, only to find 2 totally different ajuga's listed as Chocolate Chip. The Chocolate Chip as I know it (which was in all the Lowe's and Home Depots last year) - is the more slender blade, about 1/2" wide. The new they were saying was Chocolate Chip was very similar to my regular ajuga, but has a shinyer surface, and a curled up leaf. I went on and purchased some, but not sure what it is. Now I have gone to 3 different Lowe's looking for the "real" Chocolate Chip, but only to find they don't have it anymore. Has anyone out there had this similar issue with the way Lowe's suppliers are labeling their plants ?
