Oh, yeah, Katie, forgot to mention you might want to sign up for DA (Daylilies Anonymous) before you go to the daylily forum. Thanks for the reminder, Molly. heh heh

I haven't taken too many pics of my daylilies. Stellas are blooming away and will continue to do so all summer. Waiting on a bunch. Here is Comopolitan, new this year. Sorry it's so dark. I was fooling around with the different exposure settings.

SO what are your ideas for stopping the drool that flows as I look at all these gorgeous flowers?

Archer/Bronson, FL(Zone 8b)

Just push the slider in that holds your keyboard so you don't get that wet. Keep a stack of napkins ready to catch it as it runs down your chin..........................and keep that mouse a clicking!
:^))))

Here is one that opened today, in the rain. Another Diploid.
Again from seed, no name.
Actually only my Stellas are named, all other Day Lilies in my garden are from seed.

So many pretty daylilies available these days. Thanks for posting all the pics, everybody!

Jackie-- I love your collages and pics of the whole plant. DLs make such lovely garden flowers and I think I might like the old fashioned ones the best.

I have a few beginning to bloom now too.

This one is from Valley of the Daylilies (but I can't remember the name right now). I like the color play with my Japanese Maple.

Here is one that opened today, maybe yesterday but it was raining so hard I didn't see it.

Andy, love that coral one! I like to concentrate on certain colors when adding to my daylilies, and corals and salmon and melon colors are what I'm wanting now.

None of my pinks, mauves, or lavenders are opening yet, but I really like 'Ben Brey'. A couple of years ago I ordered Daring Deception and recieved this one. I've never been able to capture the color in a pic, but it's actually deep plum, not brickish like the pic. It actually looks very at home with the pink astilbe nearby in reality.

That's gorgeous Andy! Is it another seedling?

'Laurel Crown' opened today:

This one I call Not Strawberry Candy, for obvious reasons.

Still pretty, though. Again, more burgundy than brick.

Yes, Genini. All my DLs are from seed except the Stella D'Oro. I bought that one a long time ago when they were 'new', and pricey. Now we can hardly give them away, LOL.
