Tropical Wave 10N 35W

Headland, AL(Zone 8a)

There is a tropical wave/area of convection between Africa and the Antilles near 10N 35W that has a low-level circulation with a few thunderstorms. This low is not expected to grow into anything siginificant as it is headed northwest towards an area of high wind shear and water temperatures below the 80 F threshold needed for tropical storm formation. However, as of the last three years, the one thing we have learned with reagrds to tropical weather is to expect the unexpected...so although it does not seem likely that this system will form into anything, it still bears watching.

Ditto! We've got a frontal boundary streaming up from the PC area that should bring us some rain. Loking at the mosaic coppler, you might have some light showers moving in to your area this evening.
