Mini Datura???

Royse City, TX(Zone 8a)

Is there such a thing as a mini datura. I have one growing at work that looks exactly like a datura bush but tiny. The flowers are about an inch or two long and lilac/purple. I picked some seed pods off that had cracked open and the seeds look like tiny datura seeds. Can this be some form of mini-dat or something completely differant?

that is Datura stramonium, var tatula, commonly known as La Fleur. if they are planted in small pot, yes they will be small, but! if u plant them on the ground they can go to about 5' tall. i have done it in the past. the taller ones will develop root under the ground to about 2 to 3 ft long. http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/48970/index.html

Thanks, I am going to have to plant some in the ground. The pictures on the link are beautiful.
