The Trompenburg I bought last year survived the winter and is now finally flushed. I love the finger-like leaves. In the background is 'Red Dragon'

Boy that is nice ...I have considered getting one for a long time....I always thought it would be a darker/duller color ..maybe it will as the summer progresses...I have one that I grafted this spring that's going strong altyhough it hasn't "shot up like some others ( may not have been grafted as well as my others...but look s neat !!) so maybe in about 3-4 years mine will be that nice!! David
