Thanks for the tip - garden scoot

Wheatfield, NY(Zone 6a)

After reading some of the threads here, I bought the scoot (from Gardener's Supply) It is so much better than what I had before (one of those molded plastic seats on wheels; better than nothing, but too low to get back up from). Just wanted to thank everyone. My dh attached a rope to the steering mechanism so I have a 'leash' to pull it around with. My granddaughter calls it my John Deere because it has the classic green & yellow paint job. gram

Grampapa, I bought one too after reading how much Tplant liked it. I call it my Granny Mobile. LOL

Lee Valley now has the same scoot, but in fire engine red.

I have a new one of those, too. I asked my son-in-law to make me a rope leash, but he asked a friend about welding me a longer handle. I think that's what we are going to do. I can't bend over to pull it from one flower bed to another. I am so glad to hear that others are using it and liking it.

I tried the Lee Valley hyperlink but couldn't find the scoot any one have a picture? Want to get one for my dad who is 85 and still loves to garden. He can't get back up on his feet if he kneels and most seats are too low or flimsey. Thanks

I couldn't find it at Lee Valley either. Searched on everything I could think of.
