OSAKA, Japan(Zone 9b)

My June hanging baskets are now in order.
I'd be so happy if you'd have a look at them.

Lovely! I've grown that begonia (tenella) from seed but never found it from bulb
or plant. Where did you find it?

Thank you ,all, for your coments.

Tammy,I have never been successful in growing B.tenella from the seeds.
Luckily I found the young plants at a nearby shop this spring .
The price was 2 dollars @ a plant.

Wow...just gorgeous...everything so full and green...the colors of your flowers so true...in zone 9 here have alot of trouble with them fading. Yours are great.

Tomtom,

Your flowers are beautiful. I was just reading the other thread you had posted re: making containers from cement and newspaper. Yours are simply breathtaking. I love working with my hands and have to give that project a shot.

Thanks for sharing your ideas and wonderful flowers.

Just out of curiousity, how many lobelia "plugs" did you start with for the first picture you posted (white)? I've tried growing lobelia several times and it rarely gets bigger than when I first get it. Your plantings are gorgeous!

mosc0022,
I used the plants grown by myself.
What seems important is to use the pre-blooming plants.
From my own experience they don't spread vigourously when they start to bloom.
Wish you best luck.
