We have 15 windows in our house, many of them 6 feet high, all of them with mini-blinds. We live in New Mexico and the dust here is fine and gritty and tends to stick on the slats. Does anyone know of a special vacuum attachment or gadget that will help with this? The upholstery attachment to my vacuum doesn't do the job very well and I don't have the time or patience to dust these hundreds of skinny slats by hand. At some point we will have to have them professionally cleaned but the cost estimate was several hundred dollars which is not in my budget right now.
