Does anyone know of any place in or within 100 miles of St. Louis that sells the Lotus Plenus ground cover?
In order to keep from cutting grass all Summer long in my front yard, I tilled the area between the sidewalk and the curb and I have been trying to decide what is the best poor-soil tolerant, part sun-loving, fast yet low (less than 4") growing, easy-to-care-for ground cover...am I asking for too much! I also considered the Ruby Glow Thyme, but that also eludes me in the St. Louis area.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Lotus Plenus (ground cover)
I've never heard of it, personally. But we like Gill Over the Ground because it is so easy to grow and stays low to the ground. I don't know its botanical name. Most people consider it a pest but it works great for us.
Internet search reveals it is Golden Bird's Foot Trefoil.
