I am growing Sugar Ann snap peas. And Eclipse shell peas. the snap peas are still only about 2 ft. high but already starting to give me some peas. Do Snap peas keep going and going? My mother says shell peas only produce once and then are done- they have not started yet though?
Thanks,
Hillary
Snap peas
Nope, sugar snaps only produce for a week or two then fizzle out. How long they keep producing will depend on the weather (preferably coolness), fertility of the soil and water. Since they are just beginning to give you some peas this would be a good time to side-dress or foliar feed them with some fish emulsion or the like to encourage a more abundant crop.

Thanks Shoe! I'll fertilize this weekend.
