Absolutely beautiful; is the color in the picture true to life? I've never seen a hydrangea that deep a blue. Does it actually have a little purple tint to it too? What a lovely thing to look at as you start your morning!!!!

Thanks - It is actually a bit more purple than in the picture - it is such a treat!

Gorgeous color! I also like its vertical shaping -- do you prune it that way or is that how it grows?

Thanks terracotta - it is sort of wedged in by a huge azalea grew up and up - I have a piece I started from this plant in another location and it is blooming pink. It is all about the ph...

Beautiful! Is it a Nikko?

Atlanta, GA(Zone 7b)

Yes I think it is a Nikko... thanks!

Lovely!! We actually have one at our front door that is that blue and I love it! On the other side of the house I have one that looks similar but the heads are much more lavender colored. I guess I should check the pH and see if it is different. Can anyone recommend a meter that is both economical and trustworthy?
Thanks,
Deb
