Recycling pots. Question.

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Hey out there...any ideas? I have been given boxes of 'just the right sized pot" but they are encrusted with calcium salts on the bottom. These are little 2.5" pots. I have tried miuriatic acid and even some hydrochloric acid (DHs idea...) which didn't work. Soaking in a strong vinegar solution helps the most but each pot still has to be rubbed down with a green scrubby.

Any ideas out there? I only soaked in the vinegar for about 5 mins....you think longer would help.

TIA,
Carol
