powdery mildew remedies

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

What do you use on powdery mildew? Our little dogwoods suffer with it every darn year. Neem? Horticultural oil? Any homegrown remedies? Thanks, Sheila

I use Serenade. It works very well, and it's organic!!

Has anyone heard of using a "tea" made with rhubarb leaves as a preventive tip? I read this recently and wondered if it would work on my roses.

No, cause we can't grow rhubarb down here in the South!

I sprayed physan at the beginning of the season and I will spray again after we get a really good rain. I have a big problem with it in my shady area. It seems to really like my illicium and citrus.

Milk, believe it or not. 1 part milk to 3 parts water stopped it in its tracks on our dahlias this summer.
