What is "wet nest" as pertains to Bluebirds?

That usually means that wind blown rain has gotten the nest all soggy. That is why if you ever have an abandoned nest, it is a good idea to save it in a ziploc bag. Sometimes in a pinch, you need a replacement for a soggy nest or one that is full of blowflies.

Interesting, never thought of that but never got a chance to get fully up and running over here either. That I will definitely keep in the back of my mind.
