Looks like a member of the walking stick family. Can anyone be more specific?

He looks like s/he's covered in lichen.

It is a mantid of the genus Gonatista. They have those plates on their abdomens like this one does. I'll see if I can find a picture for comparison on the internet.

I think this one might be it, Gonatista grisea, or a closely related species.
