I understand this may not be the best forum for the question but since you guys are the experts in Clematis. Does anyone have a sure fire method...well...as sure fire as you can get...LOL... for rooting Clematis cuttings at this time of year ?

Springtime is best for rooting Clematis, but you can try now as well. Here are a couple of links to help you.

I think it's best to do the serpentine layering in several 1 gallon containers, instead of in the ground. Either way it will work.
