I just picked up a Black Eyed Coneflower what a spectular plant 5-6 ft tall in full bloom. Are any of you familiar with this plant?

I have what I call tall blackeye susan's. Mine get to 10-12 feet high and bloom late summer or early fall. I have large clumps that throw out babies left and right. Never have to do any thing to them except gather the babies to give away or move to another area. I will email you a photo to compare if I can locate it. Jim
Found the photo and realized I couldn't email so I will post in photo forum.

I have rudbeckia maxima. The plant has large blue green leaves and then shoots up with tall flower stalks about 6-7' tall. It is a very striking plant and one of my favorites because it is so unusual. My oldest plant is not doing as well as it normally does. I don't know if it's because we've had so much rain or because I haven't divided it and it's been in the same place about 4 years. Linda T
