Calling anyone in the Murfreesboro area!
Would anyone care to join me for the annual Secret Garden tour next weekend (June 10 & 11)? I'm planning to go Saturday, probably late morning. The tickets are $10 for adults, $3 for children; for ten homes - mostly in the Northwoods, Breckenridge and Regency Park subdivisions. Proceeds benfit the Children's Discovery Center at Murfree Springs.
Also, the Rutherford County Pond Society is having a charity pond tour on 6/24. The tickets are a whopping $5, get you to tour nine homes' ponds and the proceeds benefit the Beasley Animal Clinic (a low-cost spay/neuter clinic.) I also happen to know one of the property owners - she's part-owner of one of the local nurseries, and her college-age son hangs out at my house, with MY college-age son.
I'd be tickled to meet up with anyone who would care to go on either/both of these outings!
