Now I know why there are potholes all over the back yard! We let the cat out and she takes a 5 minute stroll and is back on the porch. But we wondered why she keeps sitting under the rose bush... she chased 3 of these babies down into their hole. She had one pinned to the ground with her front paws! It was the cutest thing but it got away. Hubby says Sophie (the cat) can't catch her own shadow! I would never let her hurt another animal, I don't think she knows how! She is just enjoying nature a little bit. It got stuffy for her living downtown Atl. in that hi-rise, so we rescued her and brought her home.
