bantys

i am placing an order at mcmurray and i was wondering if Bantys and normal chickens will live well together?

If you are ordering them all at the same time they will do fine. But if you later try to add them, they won't. When they are tiny chicks, they don't make much distinction about who is what kind, they just all hang out together. Good luck

I separate my banties and regular sized chickens. If a regular sized rooster and a banty rooster don't get along well, the banty generally wins, here in southeast Arky. If a banty hen and a regular sized hen don't get along, the largest hen generally wins. I don't like stress in my chicken yard, so I separate. I wish you lived near, I have some adorable/healthy peeps, that I am going to have to re-home because i do not have the energy to chase them each dusk - we have a varmint in our mist and those little rascals are too fast for me to chase each pm...they are so cute...

i wish i lived closer also, ok ill try both ways.
