I'm starting some seeds indoors (tomatos and peppers) for my fall greenhouse garden with a flourescent shoplight right over the top of them.
The whole thing (plants, soil, light) is covered with aphids and various other little bugs which seem to be attracted to the light, warmth, water. So far the seeds are growing just fine.
I obviously can't drown the bugs with a water spray since the plants are so small (They just popped out of the ground) . I'm worried that a soapy water or hot pepper spray will hurt the small seedlings. Any ideas to get rid of them?
Need help asap - aphids on inside seedlings.
Publius~ I would spray the soapy water anyway, wait 10 minutes, spray again with clear water. Wait too long the aphids will solve this problem for you. LOL
