A few weeks ago I visited fellow club member and friend Anna Littleton's garden. I hae been there before to see the daylilies but this was my first visit to see her iris. Unfortunately my visit was pretty late in her bloom season so i didn't get too many pictures. Also she was too busy with customers to walk around with me and I couldn't find some of the markers so a few of my pictures are unlabeled. But this is a really interesting garden to visit no matter what the season! Here is a really pretty yellow that I couldn't identify.
another iris garden visit
Nice pics, lily! Thanks for sharing. I think the one that is labled "Elaine" is actually "Elainealope".
Thanks for the tour! She loves those broken pattern ones - or you do. :-)
How lovely to visit someone's garden when the iris are blooming. The only thing missing in your photos is the feel of the sun on my face and the fragrance of the iris wafting in the wind.
Very pretty. I'm beginning to like the reds more and more but haven't any yet.
Thanks for sharing the photos. I enjoy touring other people's gardens so much even if only online. Looks like such a peaceful place.

Lily I love Exclusivity, I made yet another puddle of drool on my keyboard when I saw it. Is the hybridizer Russian?
I like that one too! Being kind of new to iris I don't know much about the hybridizers yet. I looked it up in Dave's plantfiles and I see the hybridizer is Innerst and it was intro'd in 1999. I recognize the name but I really don't know anything about him.
