It has been so cool and showery here but my Alice Palmer opened at last - there are 4 huge buds - 3 have opened. You can see by my arm how big the flowers are.

Yes this is a tree peony - I adore it - they are such magnificent plants! It has 2 more buds to open. It's a shame because it has been so windy and showery here lately. I was afraid the flowers wouldn't open fully but they have!
