Patriotic Iris

Southwest, OH(Zone 6a)

I thought I would share this with you if you haven't seen it yet. A Frenchman has achieved an iris that is truly red, white and blue. The petals are white, the sepals white with a blue edge (without a trace of purple) and the barbs are red. It certainly is a lovely Iris. Here is the link with a picture of it.

Wow, that is a very nice one - wish I had that variety.

Lafayette, IN(Zone 5a)

That is so cool!

Los Alamos, NM(Zone 5a)

This is a lovely iris. How funny that the at-the-moment hated French came up with a red, white and blue iris. On the other hand, those are the French flag colors as well as well as US flag colors.
I own another Cayeux Iris that I purchased some years ago from Scheiners. It is called Eau Vive and is really lovely. Hopefully, Reussite will be offered in the U.S. before too long.
