Glossy Abelia made in the shade or dead??

does anyone have any luck with glossy abelia growing well in shade?? the tags sez part shade...but i figured
what the heck....i may have to watch them die and i will dig them up b4 that happens...but i would like to see
if anyone else has had luck with them in the shade....no direct sunlight....just sun thru trees;

sns, I had one in bright shade and it didn't really flourish, it didn't even bloom. I transplanted in a shadier spot and it died. It could have died from moving, I haven't tried another.

you know what i am growing them in the shade and they are blooming....thanks:)....i have 6 of them that have been planted since april...
