I am just starting my first veggie garden how often should I water? Mostly direct seed. Once a day? Three times a day?
Any help would be appreciated.
Watering
Depends: small seed need to have the ground kept moist to germinate. Most plants after they are up and growing, deep irrigation (one inch) once a week is sufficient. Take rainfall into account. In most traditional farming areas rainfall is sufficient except in times of drought.
Thanks!
