I worked on this all winter. Now it may not seem like a sizeable undertaking, but only a few glass pebbles could be put on at a time so they wouldn't slide off.
I bought a big old glitter ornament on clearance after the holidays and glued the pebbles on using bathroom caulk.
I figure the whole thing cost me six or seven dollars to make.
I wanted something "different" for my gazing stands....
