Hi, I was out wandering about in the gardens tonight and came across this. This is the first bloom for this tree peony. It's name is Yagumo. Sorry the quality of the photo is bad, it was really windy out tonight.

How beautiful! A tree peony (or two) is on my wish list. :) I visited the local cop's garden the other night - he has five!! He stopped to tell me two were blooming and I should come look, so I gladly did! lol
Thanks folks, that bloom is now history. :( But I was surprised to get a bloom on it at all this year. The one I put in next to is isn't doing quite as well, so, I sprayed it with messenger yesterday in hopes it will encourage it to grow a bit more.

Kooger, tree peonies have really come down in price. I think I paid less than $20.00 for that one....
