Came upon this young lady with her lute in a local garden centre and could not resist! Her companions were playing flute, cymbals and drum but I could only afford one! She is carved from a piece of sandstone in China and is about 24 inches; the name apparently two syllables meaning life and musician (?) and they are said to be based on real female musicians but dont know more than that.
