Gone are the days of Rover, Spot and Queenie though I still like each name. We've had many pets and they've been named mostly for people: Joey (Joseph Elvis), Suga (no "r") for the mobster's sweeties, Fred (for the mailman of long ago), Mac (Scottish name for a collie), and then Lhasas named Fannie Mae, her pups - Ginnie Mae (bet you can't guess I was in the mortgage business TOO many years!), Pretty Boy (Clint Eastwood), Winston (who else but Churchill?), and now Harry (for Houdini - he can escape before you can shut the door!).
Here's Harry in the garden. He loves to sniff the plants.
So why did you name your pet as you did and would you reconsider knowing how it worked out?
Why did you give your pet(s) the name(s) you did?
