Anyone have a story to tell about the purple gleam poppy? and a photo? I got 6 at last weeks North Plains garden club sale and want advice. If I potted them and brought them into the garage in the fall would they overwinter?

Mary, this is the page on a google search. From the little I read there it is in the same family as the California poppies. So I would think similar growing conditions. Like dry and very well drained once established. Good Luck. Sounds like that North Plains plant sale was quite an event. Remind me next year. Joann
Joann, next year I will be at the N. Plains sale at 8AM sharp with my coffee in hand.and my wallet. soldiersong will let us all know, I trust.
